About the role

We’re looking for a Marketing Producer (Contract) to drive end-to-end production across Duolingo brand campaigns. You will translate ideas into well-scoped production plans, manage vendor and talent workflows, own production schedules and on-the-ground execution, and partner closely with Program Managers, Creatives, Legal, and Finance to deliver high-quality assets on time and on budget. This role requires excellent coordination and clear communication skills, and a bias for action across multiple concurrent workstreams. The Producer is accountable for how the work gets made, including contracts, rights, and production budgets for production-led efforts.

This is an as-needed contract position expected to average approximately 20-40 hours per week during engagement periods, with flexibility to increase hours during major campaign planning and launch periods.

You will...

  • Own production execution for marketing campaigns end-to-end, including schedules, run-of-show, on-set coordination, asset tracking, and feedback cycles
  • Manage vendor/agency/talent relationships; lead day-to-day production communications and approvals with internal and external partners
  • Partner with Legal and Finance to own production contracts, rights/clearances, SOWs, and production budgets on production-heavy workstreams
  • Build simple, repeatable workflows and documentation to increase production velocity without sacrificing quality; proactively flag risks, dependencies, and resourcing needs
  • Coordinate on-the-ground support for shoots and activations, including logistics, props, costumes, and run-of-show plans
  • Oversee mascot suit coordination and prop production logistics as needed, including reservations, vendor coordination, maintenance tracking, and shipment schedules
  • Maintain organized asset libraries and production trackers so stakeholders know what’s shipping, when, and where creative lives post-shoot
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to keep timelines aligned, convert briefs into production plans, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across channels (social, video, web, events)

You have...

  • At least 3 years of hands-on production experience (producer or production management) across social, digital, or brand campaigns, including on-set coordination and vendor management
  • Demonstrated ownership of production schedules, budgets, contracts/rights, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with creative, marketing, legal, and external partners
  • Mastery of organization and documentation: run-of-show, asset trackers, call sheets, and clear status updates
  • Experience building lean, repeatable processes that improve speed and quality
  • Ability to work on-site for productions and activations as needed; comfortable rolling up your sleeves for scrappy shoots

Exceptional candidates will have...

  • Experience leading production for brand campaigns and social-first video shoots, including logistics for talent, locations, and quick-turn edits
  • Familiarity with production tooling and collaboration systems (e.g., Asana or similar) to align timelines with program management partners
  • Experience owning product/talent rights, music/licensing considerations, and clearance workflows in partnership with Legal
  • Background supporting global or multi-market campaigns with clear asset routing and localization handoffs
  • Prior experience managing specialty costume or prop workflows for experiential/brand activations
