About the Role
We are looking for a strategic, resourceful, and analytical Business Development Manager to drive partnerships with study abroad agents in Asia.
Reporting to the Head of Business Development for the Duolingo English Test, this is a remote-friendly contract position that can be based in an Asia time zone - ideally in one of these markets: India / Nepal / Bangladesh / Taiwan/ Japan / South Korea.
You will...
- Work closely with study abroad agents in Asia - respond to inbound queries and follow up with key accounts to ensure they’re being serviced appropriately
- Map the study abroad landscape in key Asian markets, identify potential partners, and onboard them to our partnership program.

- Understanding of the study abroad ecosystem in Asia
- Strong business development / sales / account management experience
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with rapid iteration, hands-on execution
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Self-starter capable of working remotely and independently
